Logo Design Brief

We operate three sister associations in adjacent construction sectors. We're looking for some initial logo concepts to reflect our modern principals. While appearing related, the separate logos ought to reflect the sectors they individually represent. Those being Hire and Rental Industry Association (construction equipment rental), Elevating Work Platform Association (mobile elevating work platforms eg. cherry pickers etc.) and the Telescopic Handlers Association (aka variable reach forklifts). One of the objectives of the redesign is for the associations (with HRIA as the lead brand) to gain broader brand traction outside their own sectors. So simplicity and versatility (such as scalability) will be key to logo recognition. The logos will be used in a variety of platforms, from our own print magazine and literature, digital marketing and newsletters, and event marketing (see www.hire18.com.au), as well as for our members to use in their own marketing, to boost their credibility; it is critical that the logos devolve brand value to the membership.
Each logo needs to use their corresponding acronyms in each case, and historically the colours for each have been HRIA: Blue, EWPA: Yellow and TSHA: Red. The logos could potentially include symbols and/or the full brand spelling, although there are no official symbols for the associations, so this is not critical.
