Logo Design Brief

I need a logo to use for my book cover. The book is entitled "How to Bulletproof Your Brain." The book is an overview of steps to enhanced brain health. I have included two sample logos, but these are a little too elaborate. I would like the logo to be more simple than the images I provided as guides. And I do like a blue brain.
