This is part of a social media campaign. The logo - which must consist of the two words "I Do!" - should be usable in all media. It must work as a brand, as a lapel pin, as a logo, etc.
The theme of the campaign is: "Do you believe gay marriage should be legal? I do!"
The explanation of the campaign is: "This is the Civil Rights movement of our times, and we are the Promises Network. We support the legalization of gay marriage."
The two words "I Do!" are used both to affirm the question and to echo the words of the marriage vow. The words "I Do!" are a promise. They represent commitment, hope and investment in a shared future.
Updates
Thanks for the wonderful work, everyone. I will be traveling by jet for the next few hours and will have limited ability to communicate. I'll check back in later this afternoon when I am back in Florida.

TO ALL DESIGNERS:
I have doubled the payout. Here is your goal and my goal.
The image you produce here is something that I want to see on a lapel pin. And I want that pin to be on the lapel of the President of the United States, Barack Obama. And I will achieve that, with your help.
And when that picture is taken, when that news video of him standing there is rolled, I want that one image to say the following without using any words:
"I am the President of the United States of America. On behalf of the United States of America, I DO! believe that gay marriage should be legal."
None of the images so far speaks those words to me.
And when that historic picture is taken, one of your names will be in the text just below it in the history books. So revise what you have done. Revise it so that the history books will tell the story - and will tell it in a single image with your name at the bottom.
Use your creativity.

Requirements
Must have
- The look I want is one of sophisticated, elegant simplicity, much like that in the six example logos below used by other companies.
The words "I Do!" should be the first thing that catches the eye. They must be bold and stand out, without any suggestion of timidity.
Nice to have
- Rainbow colors can be used with appropriate background colors to ensure the image is easily readable against any background. A rainbow arching through or across the letters of the words is one possibility, perhaps suggesting that the rainbow is larger than what is shown.
The words "I Do!" can be tilted slight to the left, suggesting movement or dynamism.
A red, white, and blue American flag can be included in a way to suggest American patriotism. The flag should suggest movement, as if blowing in the wind, and should be parallel to the base despite the leftward tilt of the words "I Do!"
The words "I Do!" can be encased in a circle to suggest unity.
