Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a high end mountain bike company based in California. Product will be clean and simple and the logo should be as well. The company name is Shrub Cycles and I'm currently considering out lines of manzanita or other scrub brush in the shape of the califonia bear. The design should also translate well to an engraving so it must not have multiple colors without distinct borders. I'm also very open to other logo ideas.

• Must have some combination of California bear and shrub/bush design.
• Easily legible, must be able to identify the brand from a quick glance.
• The image and name should each be able to stand on their own as well as work together.

Should not have

• The logo should not have a brush or broom. Shrub is a type of small tree or plant.
