Logo Design Brief

Hey there,

We need a logo for a new company in Australia. The company is shaking things up a bit in the consulting world, offering a cloud based collaborative platform for both clients, freelancers and sub-consultants. Freelancers and sub-consultants will collaborate under a co-op type structure, offering flexibility and cost savings to our clients. We intend to offer high-end professional services at realistic rates, more in-line with what our professionals get paid, rather that at exorbitant uplift/multipliers to cover the costs of running inefficient corporate style businesses.

We will primarily be servicing the engineering sectors, including mining, roads and rail. Our key disciplines include Engineering Geology, Environmental Sciences, Project Management, Planning and Construction Advice. We want to help our clients continuously improve their businesses, be efficient and maximize profit.

Our input is both at the strategic planning and operational ends of the spectrum.

We genuinely distinguish ourselves by our lateral thinking - and outside of the box solutions. We pride ourselves on being different - the hipsters of engineering.

The company name 'njio' is a play on the abbreviation of Engineering Geology, commonly termed and EngGeo. This service area and the appreciation for Earth Sciences is at the core of the business.

We want the logo design to express pragmatism, solutions, hands-on approach and the outdoors - ideas include raw materials - earthy (soil, rock water); problem solving; fresh - young - stream lined cloud based platform....
