Logo Design Brief

I would like to redesign my current logo. My company, Bates Floors specializes in Installation and refinishing of all types of Hardwood Floors. I am open to updating our current logo or a complete redesign. I've provided a pic of our current logo. Once the Logo is complete I Plan on having all trucks wrapped with new artwork and new business cards made as well.

• When i look at the logo i want to think wood flooring, The problem i have with my current logo is people look at it and think I'm a landscaper or florist.

Nice to have

• Incorporate some kind of wood into the design, could be wood grain, tree, wood flooring or so on.

Should not have

• Nothing to cartoony or animated looking
