We need a logo design for a company called SpecCheck™. We help people to understand their new home concept plans and specifications to ensure they correspond with each other before they sign a build contract. We are independent and not aligned to any particular building company, which gives clients confidence we strive to achieve the best outcome for them.

Requirements

Must have

• Must be clear that SpecCheck relates to the paperwork process behind building a new home (i.e. floorplans and specifications). We check they correspond to each other so need to show that somehow.

Nice to have

• We would like to show hints at residential new home without looking like a building or real estate company.
• The final design should be friendly and professional.

Should not have

• No $ signs
• Prefer no check marks or ticks
• Don't want logo that looks like it's been made by auto logo-maker (as my example was)
• Don't like the standard clip art representation of documents.
