Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company called STS.

We are a indoor/outdoor training facility, for both armed and unarmed combat.

We would like to see title font that is from the 40s and 50s -era military usage.

We have an old logo from a previous organization (we have full rights for) that we would like to see re-stylized/modernized and included as part of the design.

Attached is also a very rough 1st idea. Please feel free to discard or expand on this.
