App Design Brief

We have an android app that needs improvement in design. We have used a color pallet that we'd like to continue to use (attached). I have attached files of how the app is now, how someone else tried to improve the design (downloads file) and a report that also needs a redesign (the pdf). We'd like the design to be more modern, fresh and professional. The app is used by gas stations, hotels, restaurants and other companies that need HACCP registration because of food regulations. The app will be mostly used on tablets.
