Web Design Brief

I need a website. I am an unpublished writer. I own a domain and tried a bit to design one in Wordpress. I would like to be able to change out pictures, blog, and receive email. My fav color is orange (but not necessary in website) I like the font "Hello Stockholm" Probably 4 or five different pages. Attached is a poor scan of a business card.

Updates

Had a recent death in the family, my inspiration to get the site designed and also the reason I may need a few days.

I write books action mysteries. So far all take place in Wyoming. I realize there was not much info given. Pages: Home, Looking for representation, recommended reading and other things I like, Allison (a page dedicated to my daughter who just passed away), and other useful links. Probably shorter ways to say those, but you get the idea.

Thanks for the designs submitted. I know I gave very little direction. There are a few authors who write in Wyoming who are popular, CJ Box, Craig Johnson (Longmire Series) I would argue that the main character in any of their books is Wyoming, or the West. No cliches. Cowboy hats, horses, not so good. For those outside the US, maybe do a serch on Wyoming and look at the pictures. I have photo's for possible use in my design, will post them tonight. Thanks all. -j-

I am not sure how much info gets added, how much the designer does and how I fill in the "blanks". Here is partial text for the "Allison" page: Over the years, our daughters’ friends overlapped one another and two or three became like daughters to Donna and me. Some even became our friends as they grew into adulthood. One had a father who tried to committed suicide multiple times. After one attempt she asked him, “why?” He said, “I am glad you can’t understand why, only someone who can travel to that dark a place can understand why”. He was eventually successful. She shared that story with us on August 14th when our daughter Allison found that dark place in herself and took her life. We found a suicide note, then her body, then everything went into a fog. An hour or so later, my wife and I stood on the front lawn after the police interviews and watched as the corner slide a covered corpse into the white SUV with darkened windows. We stood there as the rain began to fall, and the sky sobbed with us. As they closed the back of the coroner’s Suburban, the rain fell harder and harder and a fireman guided us back into the house that will never be the same for us.
