Logo Design Brief
The name of the line is Costasola, a compression of the Spanish words "costa" (coast) and "sola" (alone) i.e. "lone coast".
The product line consists of graphic t-shirts with designs from artists who have strong artistic voices.
I intend to print the logo on shirts. Because printing costs increase with the number of colors used, please use between one and three colors when creating this design. (White won't count as a color since I will be printing on white garments.)
I look forward to reviewing your submissions.
Updates
Think of the word itself as a design. Like for example, Coca-Cola, Walt Disney, Lego, ebay, IBM all have great stylized lettering. That's sort of in the vein I am looking for. Obviously don't copy any of these examples, I'm just trying to provide a reference for what I mean by "word as the design".
I do like little abstract emblems too, but it will take a very good emblem to beat out a well designed rendering of the name. Basically the person who is going to win this is the one who comes up with the strongest customized lettering.
I am not looking for fonts you can find on your computer. I could do that myself.

Requirements
Should not have
- Don't interpret the name too literally. Even though I have the word costa, I'm not interested in pictures of beach scenes or palm trees. I want something more abstract; lettering and perhaps an abstract image that conveys the feeling/essence of the brand name.
