Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a young female singer-songwriter, "Marella". She'll likely use this logo on t-shirts, her soon-to-be-designed website, perhaps CD covers, etc. Her music could be described as similar to Ingrid Michaelson, Adele, and/or Carole King. As such, her music can be both fun and light, or more serious ballads. Many songs of her songs are about relationships, romantic, family and/or friends. We don't have any color scheme's in mind. The logo should be easy to read as we need to build her brand and this logo will be part of that effort. The name could be all capitalized, "MARELLA", or not, "Marella". She sings and plays 3 instruments, piano, ukulele and some guitar but its not her primary instrument.

Target Market(s)

Music purchasers, mostly a younger, 12-35 age demographic. Skewed toward women 75% (my estimate).
