Logo Design Brief

About
Neanderthal Strong (www.neanderthalstrong.com) is a non-serious intended to be silly site that allows people to take pride in being part neanderthal by surfacing what percentage of their DNA heritage is from neanderthals. The site will allow users who have done genetic testing through 23andMe, and possibly other genetic testing sites, to retrieve their genetic neanderthal data and buy gear (t-shirts, stickers, mugs, etc.) displaying this information (i.e. 3.5% neanderthal).

The site is intended to be a whimsical way for people to celebrate recent data regarding human genetic makeup. It’s supposed to be fun and silly and not something to be taken very seriously.

I would like the logo to contain some sort of rendering of a neanderthal indicating strength in some way, possibly with a spear or club, and with the representation of DNA: (https://www.google.com/search?q=dna&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiA7dKD84PeAhXFq1kKHTo7AMsQ_AUIDigB).

Neanderthals Info
Neanderthals are an extinct species of archaic humans who lived in Eurasia until 40,000 years ago. They lived alongside homo sapiens (modern day humans) and the two groups even mated, which is how DNA in some modern day humans contain neanderthal DNA. They are thought to be more muscular and much stronger than modern day humans.

Requirements

Must have

• I would like the logo to be a neanderthal character that is fun and playful. It would be nice to have a DNA image tied into the logo somehow. It should also have the words "Neanderthal Strong".

Nice to have

• Something indicating strength but I don't want the neanderthal to be overly muscled or indicate something super masculine. I would like to have one with a male neanderthal character and one with a female neanderthal character.

Should not have

• Must not be a standard corporate-like logo.
