Logo Design Brief
Startup is called Emerald Maps. Website under construction.
Emerald Maps will sell (1) reprints of antique (over 100 years old) maps, mainly Irish; (2) some contemporary maps of Ireland; (3) related products
Target market is both Ireland and overseas (for example people of Irish descent in USA, UK etc)
Product is high quality/nostalgic so logo should reflect that. Logo should contain both type and graphic elements. My thoughts regarding colour scheme would include -obviously- green, apart from that I am entirely open to your ideas but would also suggest other conservative colours such as deep blue
