Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new bakery shop in Sydney. We do patisseries, customised cake, gourmet cupcakes and macaroons. We want a white logo on a black background. Our style is classic, elegant and simplicity; not too complicate but easy to remember. We prefer thick fonts over thin / soft fonts. You may want to play around with "1969", but its not a compulsory. However, if you can engage in a baking symbol (ingredient, tools, product, bakeware,...) in the word "The", that could be excellent.
