Logo Design Brief
I am keen to explore a new logo for my business. Hello Perth is a free tourist visitor guide DL magazine distributed from Perth Airport, Visitor Centres and tourism precincts. It's a 108 page publication full of things to see and so in Perth such as attractions, shopping, dining and maps. Hello Perth also produced several Fold Out Map products. The logo I use on all products is also the masthead on the publication, so the logo will need to be reversed out in white for the publication cover, as it sits over an image, but can feature the corporate colours for everything else. The colours used throughout the publication are mostly orange PMS 173 with some teal PMS 321. The orange is our well known colour. As it's tourism, it needs to be quite fun, but simple, with a modern, professional look. I've attached the current logo/masthead. I'm looking for the text to say only Hello Perth, similar as the attached keeping the handwritten font in Hello, but I'd like to add on a /logo visual of some kind to sit around the text, and perhaps something that represents Perth, either sunshine, water or the iconic buildings in the city scape. This logo will be used as a masthead, on all digital products (website, Apps and social media) plus all stationery.
