Logo Design Brief

I would like a logo created for my company Ethical Image. We are a content creation agency for the cannabis industry and I am struggling to picture how our rebrand should look. We are philanthropic in nature (plant 100 trees for every job we do / donate money to charity/nonprofits) and our company mainly does photo, video, and web design I am leaning towards a strong E with maybe a small i, something that can translate to "Ethical" : Events, Interviews, Experts etc (not just image). I had thought about including some elements such as a tree or maple leaf, but think just the lettering would stand out stronger. I would like this to be a logo where you can include the whole word in it, or just the letter (or two) as a logo that is identifiable on its own. Similar I guess to the G of google, or F of facebook. Previous logo attached for reference (will be a similar colour) but NOT to include the MJ leaf
