Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our new Summer College Softball League for top players, based in here in San Diego. The league provides the ultimate summer league developmental experience for college athletes who want to upgrade their performance capacity and preparation. They will play 30-35 games against top collegiate players from all over the country, on the very best fields (San Diego State, University of San Diego, etc.), get world-class performance training, leadership development, nutrition coaching and mindset formation. All this within the context of a San Diego experience - beach, sun, outdoors, leisure lifestyle, etc.

Requirements

Must have

• A stand alone icon that can go without the full name of the League. Must have a font style in the Logo Text that can be used on a website, business cards, etc. Must be easy to have embroidered or screen printed on apparel.

Nice to have

• Sleek, modern, simple, powerful design. A way of telling our story from one of the elements...i.e., round spartan shield with some element that references baseball or softball (base, bat, etc.). We use a lot of technology as well with our athletes.

Should not have

• Elegant, frilly, old fashioned.
