Logo Design Brief

Design a logo for a guitar brand containing a bad-ass gorilla (screaming or something like that) - I imagine only the contour of the drawing in a powerful and "scary" way.

For the font used, I imagine something like the letters are "teared down" but still very legible and in black and red. It will probably be burned or laser engraved in the wood, so it really needs to be legible.
