Logo Design Brief

I need a logo + ico file design for a new concept I'm developing for linking skills development within a course network. The trellis is the focus which is similar to a trellis for climbing vines. A course is presented as a "trellis" or skills network in which users attain skills to climb the trellis to an end goal (or the top of the trellis). The winning design will focus on a trellis (grid or otherwise) design with the notion of climbing to the top. I'm not interested in "flowery" designs as this is mainly designed for athletics so clean "sport" look with bold colors will be required.
