Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new investment company based in Wollongong Australia. We invest in early stage technology companies in the life science area (food, pharmaceuticals) and creative arts such as films. We have made 5 investments to date. We are looking for a contemporary logo (thinking simple black and white). I really like how museums of contemporary art do their logos.
