Logo Design Brief

UPDATED PLEASE CHECK "NICE TO HAVES"

The core of this new startup business specialises in the retail of Politically Themed Apparel and merchandise. Here are two examples for SIMILAR (but not the same) brands for those that are unsure what is being sold:

We want a symbol/graphic to be incorporated with the words Politically Charged in the logo to make the brand instantly recognisable. Something that links with the brand would be great such as a lightning bolt or a raised fist. However these are merely suggestions, I am really just looking for powerful imagery so please take full artistic license! However as you can see in the examples I have provided, I do prefer designs with the brand name and a single symbol.

An Animal charging such as a Horse/Rhino/Buffalo or anything else strong and mighty!

The idea of the brand is not to promote one particular party but rather to give a voice to multiple views. Therefore a logo that demonstrates and symbolises the struggle, the fight and conflict that is inherent to activism and political power would be awesome (but not essential).

However with all this said it is essential that the logo remains sophisticated, classic and UNCLUTTERED while also maintaining a powerful presence.

The target market of the brand is university/college students as well as educated people who have an interest in history and politics. The successful logo will be used on t-shirts as well as on branding material physical and online.
