T-shirt Design Brief

In the United States Thanksgiving Day in November is a time for families to get together to celebrate and the primary food served is turkey. Thanksgiving Day is also the largest running day of the year as communities host Turkey Trots (running races) that are family friendly in the morning and then get together in the afternoon for a big meal.Since it is a Thanksgiving Day event the turkey is featured in all of these races. The logo that has been used for this event has changed little in the last 10 years. A sample of a few t-shirt styles used in the past is shown.We are looking for the Turkey logo to be updated to be fresher and more professionally drawn.

The T-shirt used is a long sleeve shirt where the event name and date will be on the sleeves leaving and we envision a big running turkey which wraps around the shirt (or separate front/back or right/left views of the turkey. The shirt printing will be dye sublimation - a digital printing process, so we are not limited to a simple design and a few colors as we would be if it were screen printed. Detail and color are good!

Requirements

Must have

• Updated turkey logo on front and event name and date on sleeve. Name and turkey should be separate as Raleigh Turkey Trot will be printed on the sleeve and the turkey on the body of the shirt (wrapping around front and back)

Nice to have

• Detail, autumn colors (not limited to a small number of colors - the design will be printed with dye sublimation, not screen printed). Running turkey. Possibly kid turkeys running behind an adult turkey (just an idea - not necessary).

Should not have

• Spring/summer colors.
