Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my sole practice as a counsellor (therapist). I specialise in working with people with addictions, but also work with a range of other issues. My clients are mostly adults, both male and female but sometimes young adults and children. I'd like a contemporary logo that conveys trust, hope and compassion. I like logos that make clever use of logo text and negative space and have a playful edge without losing a sense of professionalism. I'd like to see designs that feature blue and gray or green and gray, but I'm open to other options.
