Character Design Brief
Looking to bring the Goldenboy to life for our company logo. Please see the uploaded picture. Instead of the torch in his hand we would like for him to have a trowel and in his other hand we would like for him to be carrying a block. I want to give artist creativity here, this is for a bricklaying company. We would like to keep the same pose as the statue. We could have him dressed up as a worker or leave him as is in the picture. Use your imagination but remember this is for a commercial logo. Bricklaying is a very manly trade and this statue although very symbolic to masonry itself is not exactly manly. Lets see what you guys can come up with. I also included a picture trying to show how I picture him carrying the block... there is a certain way a worker would carry a block with one hand. Please feel free to ask me any questions. We don't want the character to have a statue bottom anymore though, you can give him feet or steel toes or whatever direction you decide to go with the character. Lets keep the colors simple; Yellow (gold), black, grey and white. It should be done on a white background because we are simply going to add this to our logo its just the centerpiece.
