Logo Design Brief

Our Lady Calls Pilgrimages offers all inclusive Catholic pilgrimages to the shrine of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Medjugorje, Bosnia Herzegovina. We are not a travel agency. Rather, we are an organization using its gifts of hospitality and 20 years of group travel experience to welcome and lead pilgrims from all over the world on pilgrimage to enter into a deeper relationship with Jesus through His mother, Mary. Our Lady calls each pilgrim who travels with us into this intimate encounter - wrapping every one of her children under her mantle of prayer and intercession to unite their hearts to her son.We would like our logo to reflect the invitation of the Virgin Mary to draw near to God and the invitation of our ministry to prayer through pilgrimage - an intentional, purposeful journey to honor God and grow in holiness . Please emphasize this invitation and journey (not the actual traveling on a plane or in a car that one has to do to arrive).

Please note that color blue is associated with the Virgin Mary. The mantle worn by Our Lady or a Rosary could be incorporated. The final design should communicate an invitation (i.e. Our Lady calling each person).

• Please incorporate blue, the color associated with the Virgin Mary. It does not need to be the only color. For instance, gold or yellow could be a nice compliment.
