Logo Design Brief
Re-branding our cafe to more of a brew vibe with dining. We need a more sophisticated vibe. We are in the middle of a rainforest and have a great selection of bottle and tap craft beers. We also have a water fall and sea caves nearby. Our restaurant has won food awards. We have a wood-fired pizza oven as well. Open in the summer only. We have onsite accommodation and RV park for around 150 guests. We do have small "whistling tree frogs" on site.
Target Market(s)
International tourists. Locals on holiday. No local customers really. Near the beach. In the middle of a temperate rain forest, with penguins and marine life.

Must have
- Logo suitable for use on a large grain silo at entrance, easy to read while driving.
- Suitable for entry signage. Distinctive and fun. Good for t-shirts and merchandise.
- Good in black and white. Not too busy.
Nice to have
- The waterfall in the back ground. Bold. The silo is painted a soft caramel color.
- We are thinking a black and white logo that connotes quality but still has the fun vibe of our property. It is mainly a sit down restaurant, catering to lunch and dinner, mainly by onsite guests. It is in the upper price range. We do not brew on site.
Should not have
- Not too busy. Easy to see in a rural, forested environment. We have been told that our existing logo is not up market enough. Doesn't need a frog in the logo, but open to ideas and a frog face. We are well known in tourism circles for our part of the world.
