Logo Design Brief

We are looking to make our resort village logo look more current and sophisticated to meet the growing international tourist market expectations. Our property features, cabins, motels, chalets plus RV + camping sites. The property has many re-purposed historical and new accommodation options. It is next to the Cathedral Caves. It has a restaurant on site called the Whistling Frog, which we are currently re-branding on this site. Check out the brief. Our website is: www.catlinsnz.com
The main reason people stay with us is because we have dining and accommodation next to the Cathedral Caves and McLean Falls. We are mid-point in the Catlins.

Requirements

Must have

• An easy to read logo by international travellers driving along a road in the forest. They get lost and are worried they may have missed us. There is no town around us. Road signage is key, so not too busy. Eye catching and tell the story why it is a good place to stay. Good in black and white. Connote quality.

Nice to have

• Be creative - have some fun with it. The caves have a nice swoosh to them on the aerial shot attached. The view from inside is a unique shape looking out. May be able to incorporate: www.cathedralcaves.co.nz

Should not have

• Too busy. Simple and elegant.
