Graphic Design Brief

Looking for comprehensive large format color graphic design & "theme" for my 32' cruiser boat. I started this project last year, and had a concept partially developed.... but it was never installed due to the fact that I was not completely satisfied with it. I do have a clearer vision of what I want in my design and am looking for a talented graphic designer and artist who can realize my vision to turn my large boat into a one of a kind floating work of art.

This design will be printed very large on 3m vehicle wrapping film and installed to cover all vertical surfaces of the vessel. The design must be delivered in Adobe Illustrator format at high enough resolution to be printed at a size of 32' long (10 meters). A design will need to be created for the sides of the vessel and also the rear. The rear should be a continuation of the design on the sides, and the rear will contain text showing the name of the boat which will be "Destination Unknown".

I have attached an Adobe Illustrator file containing the last attempt of realizing this project so you have a starting point as far as the boat shape.

Requirements

Must have

• I want the theme of my boat wrap to be "Maritime Navigation" and the name of the boat is going to be "Desitination Unknown". I would like the entire front of the vessel to consist of a section of the nautical chart attached to my project (in PDF format). The colors of the land and water in the chart should be re-stylized for more athetic appeal with eye-catching textures & colors for land and sea, and the labels will be removed to turn the informational chart into artwork.
• The chart artwork should transition at a diagonal about mid-ship using some type of creative transition into some type of graphic artwork that compliments the chart at the front. The design can be something like the example I provide in my project profile which gives the feeling of water, motion, and the water...but I will leave it to the designer to create a total concept that works together with the nautical chart or nautical explorer/roamer theme.

Nice to have

• I would love the graphic design on the rear part of the boat to utilize very clever textures effects, gradients, and color shading to give a look of having depth and a 3rd dimension. It must be expertly executed graphic art and it would be great to utilize nautical graphical elements such as the Rosetta compass symbol, etc.

Should not have

• I don't want this to look like a pirate ship design or have anything to do with fishing. This is a pleasure boat and I want it to be eye popping but elegant.
