Logo Design Brief

We look forward to receiving your logo design for Berner Capital, a family-owned investment company.

Investments are held in various asset classes. Real estate, however, forms the core of the family’s investment holdings. Berner Capital invests into commercial and residential real estate in prime locations worldwide. Properties are acquired, if required renovated and then – using local property management services – tenanted.

Berner is family name with Swiss origins, derived from "bern" meaning "bear". Hence including a bear / heraldic bear into the logo is an option. No must though.

Private ownership provides Berner Capital and its clients with stability and a long-term approach. Hence the design should communicate Berner Capital’s traditional values: Solvency, stability and integrity.

Requirements

Must have

• Our design should be professional, upmarket and classic - promoting our values of solvency, stability and integrity.
• Colors on the conservative, elegant side, e.g. blue / grey / black / gold, etc.

Nice to have

• How about playing with a heraldic bear, a key and the logo text? (see example 1), or with an animal shape and the logo text? (see example 4)
• How about playing with key / houses / roofs / skyline? (connection to real estate, see examples 2 and 3)
• Please use your creativity - the attached files are nothing more than examples. We are open to your proposals.

Should not have

• Too "wild" colors mixed up
