Logo Design Brief

Fox Mountain Brewing Company, a new craft brewery and eatery in Williams Lake, BC needs a logo. We brew craft beer on site at our 4000ft2 facility and serve it in our taproom and eatery, where it is paired with our house made smoked meat. We would like the logo to reflect the area and use some natural elements of the region. Fox Mountain is a rolling hill that is on one side of the valley that the town of Williams Lake is situated in. It is used by locals for hiking and mountain biking, is home to Douglas fir trees, mule deer, fox and lots of sunshine. The design should have elements recognizable to locals and be attractive and interesting to those who haven't been to the area and are looking at our beer on the shelf. I've tried to reflect something along these lines the uploaded file, although the drawing is poor and it is likely too busy.

• Fox Mountain Brewing Company or Fox Mountain Brewing Co or Fox Mtn Brewing Co. wording. Connection to the local elements of the area.
• The logo needs to be versatile and be used on a sign with the Fox Mountain Brewing Company wording, as well as on a bottle cap or at least a portion of it on a bottle cap.

Nice to have

• Fox, Fir tree, Sun

Should not have

• Aggressive fox. Want the design to be welcoming.
• Steep, snow capped mountains - we don't have these here. It is more tree covered rolling hills in a valley.
