Logo Design Brief

We have had our current logo since 2004. We are looking to update, upgrade, and revitalize. We would like something modern and clean and simple. Our business is mainly in hospital financials but also in other industries. We are problem solvers in the area of financials - we provide audit services and consulting. We fill in the gaps to complete a company's financial puzzle - hence our current "puzzle piece" design. We are not opposed to keeping the puzzle piece, but want to see something refreshing done with it if not completely redesigned.
