T-shirt Design Brief
Context Global Development (CGD) is a non-profit organization that supports the program implementation needs of agricultural and social impact development donors worldwide. We are hosting a meeting for our small team, who lives around the world (particularly Africa and the US), to come together and bond. We want to ensure everyone on the team clearly understands our vision, mission, values, and create some shared learning experiences that will continue to unite and build the bond among a team of individuals that rarely get together physically in one place. We are often traveling, in meetings with partners and in the agricultural fields of Africa and we want to have some apparel that we are proud of and find it fun to wear in a variety of settings and makes people we meet in airports ask what we do and if they can get a t-shirt too - plus the apparel will continue to build our brand.
Therefore, we need help building some fun designs for T-shirts (long and short sleeve - and perhaps polos) that our team members can wear and enjoy at our approaching meeting and thereafter on assignment. We will likely pick a couple different designs. Attached you will find our CGD logo. This can be used anywhere on the apparel (such as the front, sleeve or back). It also does NOT have to be on any of the apparel designs. The theme of our meeting will be "Rooted In..." Therefore, using some of the following words on the T-shirts with some kind of cool, hip and simple design could make a lot of sense:

Must have
- * Something that is fun!
- * Something that is appealing/attractive to Millennials (and Gen X-ers)
- * Something that makes others ask questions when they see the logo/design
- * An attractive design that you want to wear when in the fields of Africa or at home when you are running errands.
Nice to have
- * Incorporate something on the back OR the sleeve of the shirt.
- * Can you trying playing more off on a visual of the word ROOTS? How could you incorporate roots more into the design and use some of the words that were provided?
- * Please take a look at the CGD and Context Global development logos that I attached to this brief for reference, as well as the samples from some of the T-shirts of some of our partners that we really like.
Should not have
- * Boring
- * Just putting our current logo on a t-shirt
- * DO NOT use the 25:2 solutions logo on our apparel (they are meant to be examples of designs that we like)
