Logo Design Brief

I have been trying to make my own logo and am just about there with one that I like, but I need expert help.

I work with young adults (Gen Z) and mid-career professionals and executives, helping them with career decisions, transitions, and job search. My business name is Tullier Consulting, LLC. Tag line is: Careers. Uncomplicated.

My brand story is that I help people figure out what they want to do and how to get there. I solve the problem of people feeling like they are all tied up in knots trying to figure things out regarding their career and work. I provide a framework for doing that, a framework that is complex yet simple to follow. Other brand attributes of me and my business are intelligent, experienced, highly credentialed, serious, insightful, practical, a partner with my clients, a solver of puzzles with my clients, thought leader, and organized.

The uploaded file shows a screenshot of a logo I have made on brandcrowd but have not purchased. Here is where I need help:

1. I would like to stick with the colors in the uploaded file (but am open to a different shade of blue or green for the tagline.

2. I am not sure if the background color should be the cream that it is now or should be white. I do like the cream.

3. I like the font (quicksand book) but am open to other clean, simple fonts.

4. I want the tag line font to be expanded so that the tag line text covers the same length as the business name for better symmetry.

5. I need help with font sizes. I do not know what the best size for each line of text is. Currently the biz name is 38 and tagline is 24.

6. I like the Pincer Flower logo image/icon as it captures my brand well, but I would also be interested in seeing some sort of knot untangling or other image that conveys going from complicated to clear or tangled to untangled.

7. I know that taglines do not always go in a logo, and there will be times when I use a different tagline. So, ultimately, I will need a logo with only business name and the icon, plus one with the tagline, ideally a tagline text field that I can edit. (I realize I could just delete the tagline when not needed but I am assuming that in a logo without tagline the business name might be bigger and re-positioned.

So, lots of info! Hoping someone can either put an expert touch on the one I have already done (uploaded file here) or start a new one. Thank you.

• Must appeal to college students, recent grads, and young adults (Gen Z and young Millennials) as well as to mid-career professionals and executives across a broad range of industries. IOW, needs to be pretty versatile -- modern but not too modern.
