I think it is important to incorporate the secondary colors, ensure some component can be used as a favicon, and that the font weight is not too strong. In some cases designers are making the whole word blue and I'm not sure that is the best thing to do.

I've liked when people have modified the word so that is is not just standard font.

Also thinking for the icon it could be cool to incorporate a boomerang represented by dots, similar to Aboriginal art. This would reoresent how users come back to the platform

You should be a designer! You have a lot of ideas.
