For the final files deliverable, will you be okay to revceive AI (Source file) and high resolution PDF file? AI is most widely used format for printing, and is editable by a designer too.

I guess as long as I receive a widely used source file that I can easily get a designer to edit later on as well as a PDF file I am good. I am thinking about using this printer here:http://www.eprintfast.com/brochures.html and so if you look at the file requirements they need the final file on .PDF.

Do you have a logo?
Or we should design that as well? If yes, what are the colors, symbols, shapes you're looking for.

And are there any specific colors we should stick to while designing the brochure.

I apologize for asking too many questions. This would really save time from our side and your side.

Thank You.

It is no problem. I actually like it when designers ask me questions so I can post information relevant to the design that I haven''t thought of when posting the project.

I don''t have a logo. You could design it if you think it is necessary but branding to my place of business isn''t strictly necessary due to it not being a franchise. However, if you do design a logo, I would not mind putting it into the menu.

There are not specifics regarding color, symbols, shapes that must be included, I only ask the design to be modern, contemporary, professional, etc. An exact opposite of what you may find at local cheap pizza by the slice designs. A good design reference would be Panago Pizza, although the colors do not have to be light green.

I hope that gives you some indication of what I am looking for.

I am looking forward to your submission!

I just realized that Panago was a Canadian pizza company only so depending on where you are located in the world, you may never have heard of it. Here is a link to their website:

Hello!

I would like to ask if it is a must that the complete description of all the dishes be included in the design, or would it be acceptable to only put the full description in certain type of dishes (such as the dishes featured in these categories: appetizers, house burgers, and sandwiches)? I think the other categories such as salads steaks, pastas, favorites, doesn't need a full description since they are the dishes people commonly order, therefore they would know what it is. The reference photo doesn't have descriptions for most of the dishes, so you were able to fit everything in there. I'm having a little bit of difficulty fitting everything into the brochure especially because the descriptions are too long for some of the dishes. :)

My reference for the descriptions and menu are the word documents. I would appreciate your thoughts, advise on this particular problem in the soonest time if possible. Thank you!

If you take a look at the previous takeout menu I uploaded, some of the items had the descriptions but others did not. I would prefer if you put everything in there but if it looks better to not do so then just put as much detail as the original PDF menu I uploaded. Also, if there are more space than the original menu but less than what can fit based on the information I provided in the .DOC files, then only include those items that describe what the meal is or what it comprises of rather than the meals everyone knows what it is. (For example, must include description for pizzas but not necessary for steaks or pastas describing how delicious it is.)

I hope that answers your questions, if not let me know and I will answer  you in a more comprehensive manner.
