Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my counselling business.

I would like the logo to include an ampersand (&) as this represents where the counselling work is focused ie. relationships are between people (parent & child, husband & wife, partner & partner, self & employer, old self & new self etc. I would like the logo to reflect growth/energy/vitality that can happen in the work on these relationships. The name of the company is heart n’ mind counselling as the work will often focus on the relationship between how we think about things and how we feel about things.

I would like the logo to have a calm, peaceful and approachable feel leaning more to a gender neutral or feminine style. The entire name of the company, just heart n’ mind or the initials of the company name H. M. C. could be embedded within the ampersand or not.

Font should be clean and match the image. I’m open to different fonts but if it’s handwritten I don’t like really curvy/curled styles.

I’m attaching an image of a lotus as a reference for colours/tones I’m drawn to but please don’t let that limit your designs as I also like some vibrant colors with the right image.
