Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new international professional association. The association aims to attract government officials, private industry, civil society and academics from all over the world who are interested in making the world a safer and healthier place by improving responses to disease outbreaks like Ebola, SARS, pandemic flu, etc. The association does this through a couple of mechanisms: 1. Support and organise the global health security conferences - the first conference was held in Sydney, Australia, in June 2019 and attracted 950 people from 65 countries to share research and policy aimed at improving the international community's response to disease outbreaks; 2. Engage in advocacy - promoting new research to inform government policy; 3. Job forum - provide regular updates on job opportunities; and 4. Networking function - providing newsletters and regular updates on new developments, connecting researchers with policy-makers, etc.

• The text accompanying the logo must be equivalent size. We have received a lot of submissions that emphasise the "global health" while minimising "security network". This is not what we are after. The message needs to be clear it is the "global health security network".
