Logo Design Brief

Need help designing a logo for Black Kite Capital, an asset management company that manages a portfolio of investments. Looking for a simple, minimalist, professional logo that incorporates a black kite. Please note that 'black kite' is the bird, not the object that kids fly attached to a string. <br/><br/>The logo should be of a Black Kite (Bird), with logo text that emphasizes Black Kite and de-emphasizes the 'Capital' part. The reason for this is that we will likely expand the company to have subsidiaries (i.e., other companies called Black Kite Group, Black Kite Holdings, etc.). That is, the final deliverable should be editable such that the 'capital' word can be changed to something else in the future.<br/><br/>Please provide color and B&W versions. Will need a vector file so that it can scale to go on websites / namecards / letter heads / etc.

Requirements

Must have

• Black Kite (text) as well as a silhouette of a Black Kite (bird). Silhouette should be simple, minimalist (see sample attached - not married to this sample at all). For example, it should be identifiable as a bird of prey, but it shouldn't have every single tail/wing feather visible in the silhouette.The word 'capital' should be de-emphasized relative to 'Black Kite' words, and should be editable so that capital may be changed to other words in the future.

Nice to have

• Ideally, the black kite (bird) is of appropriate dimensions to be able to fit into a favicon or other square-shaped image placeholder.

Should not have

• The black kite (bird) used in the logo should be unique - not the one in the sample PSD included in this brief. Thank you!
