Logo Design Brief
I have been a corporate executive for more than forty years. For the past fourteen years, I was a partner in an executive consulting firm. We have dissolved the partnership and I am now transitioning my practice as a freelance executive consultant to a new brand - Cambridge Consulting.
I have chosen the name Cambridge Consulting for a number of reasons. Cambridge happens to be my hometown. More importantly, in North America, in the UK, and beyond, Cambridge is associated with prestigious academic institutions from which spring myriad business best practices which are cornerstones of my practice.
I need a simple logo, appropriate for electronic letterhead and a business card. I have not yet decided about the web presence for my practice. In the near term, I expect to install only a splash page with my contact information.
My clientele is an unique mix of high tech companies and Aboriginal organizations. Common to both, my clients typically are in a stage of expansion, having moved beyond start-up and now seeking to significantly grow the enterprise - whether taking a new technology to market or transforming an Aboriginal community.
I am not Aboriginal and do not want an obviously Aboriginal design in my logo. This would not be respectful of my clients. I am typically more attracted to simplistic designs that allow the viewer to "complete the story."
Thank you in advance for your interest in this small project.
Updates
Hello. We have made our decision on the logo that will brand Cambridge Consulting into the future. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who submitted designs. A remarkable variety of general concepts, specific details, color palettes, and thoughtful consideration of the future arc of the consulting practice.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers.
Peter
