Logo Design Brief

Looking for a logo that can go on either black or white background. Feel should be modern, sleek, and masculine. Ideally would incorporate the letters "E, L, and "I" (or i) into the design. I do like a graphic (using the letters) or a basic shape, such as a triangle. Working ELI into a graphic is ideal. Attached is an example of the idea of incorporating the letters into the logo (just an example).
