Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based out of Texas called PowerTrader. Our energy brokerage firm will assist all businesses (small/med/large) to find the right electric supplier for their company. The products we offer are electricity and natural gas and will be sold throughout the United States. We are open to seeing any designs that are creative and memorable. It is not important to include designs about the energy industry. The message we are going for is that people have the "Power" to find and switch/"Trade" energy companies that best fit their needs.

Requirements

Nice to have

• Similar to many large and well known energy/oil companies throughout the world, their logo has meaning and are powerful. That's the kind of look are we going for. I would recommend creating something where the creative icon is on the left and the company name, PowerTrader, is to the right of it.

Should not have

• Even though we are in the energy industry, we are going for a look that does not include icons like the lightning bolt, light bulb, gas (flame), electrical outlet, etc... If you do include these icons, please make it very subtle (most likely incorporated into another picture). When you think of the word Power, think "strong" and "mighty" instead of energy.
