Logo Design Brief

We are redesigning our current logo as part of a rebranding initiative. The Marina is based in Ft. Myers, FL and appeals to dry storage tenants, winter residents, transient boaters (people that live on boats and go place to place), local residents (fishing, boating, recreational), Boat Club members, Casino boat customers.

It's a full circle marina and we want to showcase a Country Club vibe but also stick to simple designs that portray the most important aspect - we are a MARINA. We like the colors blue or nautical themes.

They use blue cursive on their current logo on the website, a childish splash looking logo on their facebook and more recognized logo on the marina building currently. We would like to create something uniform for the three.

Dry storage residents - people that store big boats and yachts year to year
Wet Slip/transient boaters - people that stay/live on their boat traveling around; stay in marina a couple of nights
Winter Residents - people who move to FL from up North during winter and enjoy boating/older/retired
Local residents - people who are local to Ft. Myers and enjoy fishing, boating, recreational use (usually in the summer)
Tourists - tourists who come for sunset cruises, fishing charters, casino boat gambling
