I need a logo design for a new industrial business park located in Rock Hill, SC. (The road cutting through the property is called Aspendale Road, and so Aspen has became the working name for the last three years. ) We have plans developed for a 220-acre business park which will ultimately serve about 1.6 million square feet of industrial buildings. Some ideas that we have is a logo that works off the silhouette or an abstract idea of the Aspen Tree (maybe even just the tree trunks) or even the idea that "Aspen" means a kind of tree whose leaves move easily when the wind blows. Another thought is to play off the proximity to the Rock Hill Airport nearby - so something with airplanes or aviation, transportation. As far as a color palette - I pulled some examples that play off the color of the Aspen Trees. This needs to be a strong, masculine logo - this industrial park will ultimately bring more than 2,000 jobs to the area. The final design should communicate stability, growth, evolution and innovation. This park will be high quality and modern.
