Logo Design Brief

I'm looking for a logo for a new business I'm launching. The business will be an executive search firm. The types of clients I'll be placing talent with are Construction, Engineering and Architecture firms. Tamarack is a deciduous conifer tree found in the North Eastern United States, Canada and Alaska. The name comes from the Native American language of Algonquin meaning "Wood used for snowshoes. The logo doesn't necessarily have to contain an image of an actual tree. Just wanted to provide some context on the name.
