Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my new business. This is a an organization called The Keys Guild. The name is based on the idea that each member who pays a monthly fee to belong to this exclusive organization is a Key. I am a trainer or coach that is teaching people across the US how to deal in collectibles. They help their clients who may be wanting to sell items figure out what they have. What it is worth and the best way to sell it for top dollar. This could be anything from jewelry to art to porcelains, etc. Therefore my members, students are the Key to their clients discovering how to sell their items. I am the Key to them learning how to value these items and the experts I introduce my members to are the Key to them selling items of every type. Layers of Keys. A "Guild" an association of people for mutual aid or the pursuit of a common goal. Therefore we are The Keys Guild. This is also sometimes referred to as a mastermind group. Multiple people sharing the expense to be coached by one person. I originally thought I should use the old style skeleton key as an image for the logo. I have decided that I would probably like to use the old style key hole instead. My Key members unlock the value of those treasures. The right logo will look exclusive. Important. Rich. Possibly vintage if that makes sense. Looking for a creative take on this concept. If you have questions let me know.

Target Market(s)

Two markets. The first and most important are members of NAPO National Association of Productivity and Organizing. These are mostly females that offer the private service helping people organize their homes or businesses. Declutter. Napo.net. I will be charging them a monthly fee to coach them and train them on how to value items their clients are getting rid of and connecting them with the right auction houses, dealers and buyers. This will allow them to not only organize a clients home or office but they can make money by helping the client sell those items they no longer need. The second market is individuals that have items (one or a house full ) that they no longer need. Art, jewelry, decorative items, musical instruments, etc. I want to eventually market to them and direct them to my members that I am training.

• My project must have the name The Keys Guild. It must also include an icon or image that will become easily recognizable as representing my organization.

Should not have

• My project should have a stylized skeleton key or antique style keyhole. I am leaning towards a interesting take on the keyhole.
