"What is a AEC-COPA?

Insiders is an activity and employment cooperative which has the legal status of a cooperative and participatory association (SCOP in French). Do these words seem fuzzy to you? Here is an explanation that will allow you to understand how we operate:

An AEC like Insiders gathers a group of consultant who wish to develop their own entrepreneur activity whilst being part of a collective company and benefiting from the salaried status.

We chose the legal status of COPA so that each of our S/E can work on their professional activity whilst having the opportunity to profit from the contributors' experiences in their area. Because of this status, we adopted a democratic governance: all decision-making are taken by vote of the associated S/E. The S/E can become associated by simple request and have an obligation to become one after 3 years of service.

Regarding the stewardship, it is a volunteer work that lasts for only 3 years and is available to all our S/E and has to be voted by all the S/E. "
