Business Card Design Brief

We are starting a new company called Texas Professional Engineering and already have a logo however, the colors for the logo itself are not final and COULD be changed. I'm hoping to move AWAYfrom the gold color in the card and the logo as it seems a bit outdated. What we need help with is to find what our business color scheme will be, and then incorporate those colors into both the logo and the business card design itself. We also want to make sure we are known as "TPE" so in the future we can just refer to ourselves as "TPE" and not Texas Professional Engineering. That being said, I would like to make a slight change to the logo to somehow include the letters "TPE." The logo used in the front of the card design MUST ALSO include the words "Firm No. 21819" within the logo. My vision is for the front of the card to have the information shown in the attached image. For the back of the card, I'm hoping to have something very simple. I'm envisioning a solid color with either the website (www.engineeringtexas.com) and a simplified version of the logo. I've attached an example but I'm looking for a complete redesign. I'm looking for a slick, modern and simple design.
