Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a leathercrafting small business based in Colorado called "Byakko Leather". Products range from pop culture-inspired leather goods to completely original designs. Our motto is: All handmade, from conception to creation: lasting style and appeal for everyone. We would like to see Byakko (a mythical beast in East Asia) incorporated into the design, perhaps something akin to a fluffier real-world tiger, but we are open to your interpretation. We would love to see designs that include the colors of gray and gray-blue. Most importantly, the design should be simple enough to be made into a maker's mark (a stamp that is pressed into the leather). Preferably, the logo would not need to include the text "Byakko Leather" to be recognizable. As we base some of our creations off of characters, themes, video games, etc., we are open to almost any style, as long as they meet the previous requirements. Fun, cool, a mix of both - take it where you will!

Target Market(s)

Not entirely upscale, but not mass-produced, either. For people that want unique but long-lasting goods that are inspired by what they love.

Requirements

Must have

• Needs to be simple enough to be made into a maker's mark (a stamp that is pressed into the leather). A rendition of Byakko (a east-asian mythological creature), or a tiger.

Nice to have

• We like the idea of a raised paw and roaring tiger, similar to many depictions of dragons, but we are open to just about anything.

Should not have

• A generic leather hide in logo. If you want to include a tiger holding a skin, or a prey animal, that is fine.
