Logo Design Brief
We have a logo we like that we made using online templates but now it's time to bring it to a pro! We want to see slight modifications. The goal is to look classy yet whimsical, while still universally welcoming. We like the gold and caligraphy, but we're open to other color suggestions.
We'd love for the "D" to be wearing the hat at a slant tilted to the left but we love the style and shading.
Is it possible to make that hat look a little bit like a house (this is for our rental property business) without losing the classiness? I don't want the top to look like a roof peak. I want that to remain flat. Perhaps a door and/or windows? Maybe a bucklet that looks like french doors? Thanks!

- We like the cursive writing in the attached logo. The door on the hat should be a different color from the rest of the logo because we typically paint the front door of our houses with a bright color such as yellow or light blue.
